Folk traditions play a big part in my life
My parents met in a folk club run by my mother and grandmother, now my son is the fourth generation of my family to be singing traditional music. I ran Redditch Folk Club from 2001 (ish) until 2010 and was heavily implicated in the Redditch Mumming side. I'm no longer in the area, so no longer looking after bookings or running the club.
Gigs
I have gigged a fair bit over the years - alone and as part of various groups. I'll happily play at small gatherings and community events. I play bouzouki, violin and viola, and I sing. There are some videos here on youtube.
